Privacy

The short version: there are no advertising trackers, and no cookies unless you choose to sign in. An account is optional — the site works fully without one.

Your progress stays on your device

Your level, the words you select, quiz results and written answers are stored in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. Clearing your browser data erases them; “Save a backup file” in the menu lets you keep a copy or move it to another device.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional, and exists for one reason: so your progress follows you between your phone and your computer. If you use it:

• We ask Google to confirm who you are. We receive your Google account ID, your email address and your name, and store those to recognise you next time. We never receive your Google password, and we ask for nothing else from your Google account.
• One cookie is set — a random session token, so the site knows it is still you. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and it is removed when you sign out.
• The same study progress described above is copied to our server so it can be sent to your other devices. It is stored for you alone and is never sold, shared or published.
• Google’s sign-in code is loaded from Google only at the moment you open the sign-in panel. If you never sign in, your browser never requests it.

Deleting your account

Open the menu, choose Your account, then Delete my saved data. That erases your account and everything stored for it on the server immediately and permanently. The copy on your own device is left alone, so nothing you have learned is lost.

What the hosting provider sees

Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages receive standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) in order to serve the page and keep it secure. If visit counting is enabled, it is cookie-free, aggregate analytics that does not identify individual visitors.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a standard request from your browser when the page loads.

Changes

Optional accounts and cloud saving were added on 20 September 2026, and this page was updated before they went live. Any future change that affects what is stored about you will be described here in the same way.
