The grammar in this lesson

  1. Easy to, hard to: 〜やすい / 〜にくい / 〜づらい — Add やすい (easy to) or にくい / づらい (hard to) to a verb's ます-stem to make an い-adjective.
  2. Someone else wants to: 〜たがる — For what another person wants to do, change たい to たがる.
  3. Shows a feeling: 〜がる (寒がって いる) — Add がる to a feeling word (寒い, 怖い, 欲しい) to say another person shows that feeling.
  4. A person who always feels it: 〜がり — 寒がり, 暑がり and 怖がり are nouns for someone who feels cold, hot or scared more easily than others.
